It looked innocent enough. A little chocolate kiss in a shiny foil wrapper sitting on the middle of her closed laptop.

Only she hadn't put it there. And there wasn't one on Callen's laptop, or Sam's either.

Unless maybe there were, and Deeks had stolen them already.

No, he would have taken all of them. Unless he was the one who put it there in the first place?

"Deeks? Did you leave a kiss on my desk?"

"Hmm?"

"A kiss on my desk," she repeated.

"I'm sorry — what?" His eyebrows raised and he gave her a look of interest. "You want me to kiss you on your desk?"

"No — did you leave a kiss on my desk?" Kensi tried again.

"I leave kisses on lips," Deeks answered unhelpfully. "But I'm not above kissing on a desk…although I do draw the line at kissing the desk itself."

"I meant a Hershey's — ugh…never mind."

Deeks grinned to himself at her apparent confusion. Of course he'd left that little chocolate kiss on her desk. He had a bag full of them hiding in his own desk drawer just waiting for the proper bribing occasions.

But he could still have a little fun misleading her. He abandoned his chair and came over to her desk.

"Ooh — chocolate." He picked up the candy, unwrapped it, and tossed it in his mouth.

"Wait, that's — " Too late, she looked at him…crestfallen. "That was mine," she almost pouted.

"Aww…my bad," Deeks replied around the chunk of chocolate in his mouth. "You want a taste?"

She gaped at him. "Are you kidding me?"

"Not at all," he answered mischievously, stepping toward her. "Come on…you know you want a taste."

"Deeks — "

"Come and get it," he teased, moving closer.

She backed up, but the desk was behind her and she stumbled against it, trapped.

Suddenly his mouth was on hers and — oh sweet lord, he tasted like chocolate!

She hesitated for the briefest second before giving in and kissing him back. Even without the chocolate candy it would have been a spectacular kiss.

Her fingers curled around a fistful of the front of his shirt as she leaned up to get a better taste of what little chocolate still remained on his tongue.

Mmmm…delicious.

"Now that's what I call a chocolate kiss," he murmured against her lips.

"You owe me another one," she half-whispered a little breathlessly.

"Another chocolate, or another kiss?" he couldn't help smirking.

Both! her brain said. "Another chocolate," she firmly answered aloud, banishing her desire for another real kiss.

Deeks smiled cutely, terribly pleased at having gotten away with both stealing her candy and kissing her with it.

It was rightly-deserved payback for that little stunt she'd pulled on him while they were undercover in the Russian sleeper agent's neighborhood.

She'd kissed him then — a cover kiss meant to hide their snooping, but real enough that he hadn't even been able to react during the six or seven seconds that their lips had been connected.

He now sauntered back to his own desk and opened the top drawer. He pulled out a single individually-wrapped candy kiss and tossed it to her.

"There's a chocolate kiss," he said quite smugly. "Let me know if you need another real one, too."
