Just finished reading the Bartimaeus Trilogy (and loved it!) It was epic! Poor, poor Nathaniel D; Well, as I was reading I wondered what the characters were thinking after Ptolemy's Gate and wrote three individual songs/poems for the three main characters! Hope you like it

*This will contain spoilers so leave now if you haven't read the whole series and don't want to spoil the epicness

Disclaimer: I do not own the Bartimaeus Trilogy, it belongs to the wonderful Jonathan Stroud. Besides…I wouldn't have the guts to kill off…*Sniffle* A-Anyways t-this disclaimer will c-count for the rest of the s-songs. *Starts crying*

Kitty

You promised me that you'd be okay
Promised that you'd be safe

Then told me I couldn't stay

You promised me that we'd meet again
Promised me that this wouldn't be the end
Was that just pretend?

You promised me that you'd be alright
Promised that you wouldn't give up without a fight

…Wouldn't leave my side

Was that all a lie?

So much for your petty little promises
'Cause guess what?
Now you're dead

Can't get you out of my head

All those false promises that you made

If I knew the truth I would've stayed

So these last words I must say

Adieu Nathaniel
I love you…Nathaniel
