There they were, 2 years had gone by since they last saw each other, and now, they were making out in the middle of some market street. 2 years can really change people. As Nami clearly initiated this interaction, because, let's face it, it wasn't Luffy's idea, she decided when to pull away. That happened to be 5 minutes later when she heard a familiar annoying sound in the distance.

"Your kicks are shitty as ever Love-Cook!"

*BOOM!*

"And you couldn't even cut a slice of bread you stupid lost Marimo!"

*CLASH!*

'Oh no,' Nami thought, 'I can't have those idiots spoiling this. Luffy and I are finally…'

Nami pulled away from Luffy and grabbed his hand. While Luffy still had his lips pursed, tongue out, eyes closed, Nami took him down a side street to avoid running into Zoro and Sanji's fight. She went down a few more of these alleyways until she was sure they were alone.

"Nami…why did you stop?" Luffy whined

She turned to face him and was surprised to find him pulling her into him. Their lips touched, and Nami felt weak in the knees.

'This is amazing, well, maybe not amazing. Luffy is a sloppy kisser, but given enough time and practice, I'm sure he'll get much better. And I intend to make him practice a lot!" thought Nami. For her, it wasn't the kissing that made this moment amazing. It was finally having her feelings of love reciprocated. Luffy finally noticed her not just as his navigator, or his friend, but as a woman.

After 10 minutes, Luffy finally pulled away. "Wow! That's amazing!" he said excitedly with a big stupid grin. "You're really tasty Nami!"

Nami blushed. "I can't believe I'm kissing such an idiot," she said with a shy smile.

"Oh! Is that what it's called? Kissing? Kissing is GREAT! I can't wait to kiss Zoro, and Sanji, and Usopp, and Chopper, and Robin, and Franky, and Brook…"

"Yeah, yeah, don't get too excit…WAIT! WHAT!"

"Well, I figured if kissing you was so awesome, kissing my other friends would be a lot of fun too!"

"LUFFY! YOU IDIOT!" Nami went into scary witch mode and slapped him hard across the cheek. Luffy fell to the ground in an instant. "YOU DON'T KISS YOUR FRIENDS! YOU ONLY KISS THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE! REALLY LOVE!" Tears started to pour from her eyes. 'THAT IDIOT! Why am I so stupid around him! Of course he doesn't know what kissing is, let alone what love is, and how much I love him. And he said he wanted to kiss his "other friends", does that mean after all that, I'm still just a friend to him. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I HATE HIM!' She left without saying another word.

Luffy sat there, rubbing his raw cheek, trying to understand what just happened.

"Hmmmmm…hmmmmm…hmmmm…" Luffy thought and thought, but still couldn't figure anything out. Then it hit him! "OH! I'll ask Sanji! He'll know! He knows everything about Love!" So he jumped to his feet and ran off to find his Ero-Sennin!
