There is an unspoken rule within the team, Riley and Greg are just friends, no one is to question that, and no one is to ask if they are more.
Everyone knew that rule and respected it, even though they didn't like it.
Catherine knows they are more. She realized when she saw the pain in their eyes after they went through another day as "Just Friends."
Nick knows they are more. He realized that when he saw the fire in Riley's eyes as she fought with Greg over a piece of evidence.
Ray knows they are more. He realized that when he saw the hurt in Greg's eyes when he walked away from the fight with Riley.
Jim knows they are more. He realized that when he saw the tension between them at a scene the next day and he knew it was more then the fight that caused the tension.
Riley knows they are more. She knew it when she started the fight as a way to get out the tension.
Greg knows they are more. He knew it when he responded to the fight as a way to get out his tension.
Riley knows Greg knows they are more. She knew it when she saw the flash of hurt in his eyes, followed by the stone cold anger. She knew it because that had been happening since the fight.
