Chapter 1
"Truuue love, truuue love, it must be true love. No one else can break my heart like you." Caboose's voice along with the radio rang out in the previously quiet house.
"Ugh" Church moaned. Why does Caboose have to sing at these god awful hours! He looked at his clock. oh whoops it was 10:30. In reality he had slept in. Oh well he blamed his laziness on the fact that he's used to it never getting dark and he couldn't tell. Ever since he left Carolina to help the guys get Wash, Donut, and Sarge, they've all been having self appointed vacations on this planet they stumbled upon trying to get back 'home'. No real point in rushing, they don't have much to do when they get back anyway. It really was a cute little planet covered in beaches with a warm temperature all around. The locals let them borrow to huge houses for catching some criminals. Well, Caboose was trying to help them fix there get away car but made it explode successfully trapping them all under burning rubble. Church rolled out of bed ran his hand through his back messy hair. He went into the bathrooms he brushed his teeth he looked into the mirror.
Epic black hair, blue eyes and clean shaved face. Yep his new body was working great while still looking like he originally did. Yawn. He lazily stretched out and made his way downstairs. "Mmm" it smelled good. He came across quite a sight. The kitchen was a mess, Caboose was sitting sat the table coloring with a plate of delicious looking food siting in the spot across from him. "Its for you" Caboose said looking up at him beaming while turning off the radio.
"Did Donut make it?" Church asked.
Caboose frowned. "No, I did. I just made a little mess."
"I see that" church replied. He dug his fork in and took a big bite. Mmm very good. "Where's everyone else?" he murmured with a mouthful of food. "Simmons said not to talk with your mouth full, its rude. They ate an hour ago. I think their all playing outside." Church stopped eating.
An hour ago? Caboose has been waiting for him for an hour just to give him his breakfast. He looked down at the food guilt building up in him. "Caboose, you didn't wait for an hour just for me to get up did you? Because you could have just woken me up."
"Grif says never to wake people up from sleeping and its okay I would have waited all day because your my best friend, Church. But the food probably wouldn't have been so good then." he said not even looking up from his picture. Church felt warmth build up inside him. He has treated Caboose like crap and still he would wait for him all day just to give him breakfast. They sat in silence. Church looked up at Caboose. His dirty blond hair was looking even blonder, probably from all the sun he's been getting. His light blue eyes were sparkling and his had just a bit of sunburn on his nose and cheeks. Adorable... wait what. Caboose unexpectedly shoved the picture in Church's face startling him. He took the paper and looked at Caboose who giving him a cute smile... Wait cute!? He did not think Caboose was cute. "Its off all of us on the beach like it?"
"Its nice Caboose"
"Great! I'm going to play in the water."
Caboose raced upstairs to get dressed leaving Church to stare at the picture with a smile on his face.
