AN: As many of my regular readers may have noticed when I say "but that's another story" it usually means I'm going to write that story. In Emmett the tanpire I mention that Jasper scares away the milkman by dressing as a vampire, I am finally writing this up because I'm ill and feel like writing something cheerful. sniffle sniffle. Please review!!!

It was a usual Monday morning when Jack, the Forks milkman, stopped at the usual break in the undergrowth to deliver Dr. Cullen's milk. He like Dr. Cullen, he was a peaceful man, well mannered, modest and very generous in his tips, nevertheless it always made his nervous creeping down the leafy passageway that lead up to the magnificent house. It was only five a clock and the sun had not quite risen in Forks, there was an eerie glow in the trees and dusting the gravely path. Some birds crowed out from the foliage and he jumped. Jack was surprised to feel himself shaking, He dropped his shoulders and stood up straight, he wouldn't be intimidated, he would not be frightened.

It was April fools day and Jack was busy planning a trick on, fellow milkman, Trevor. He smiled to himself as he imagined the look on his face as the bucket of tar-thick treacle landed on his mate, covering him from head to toe in gloop. He would have to all his rounds all sticky. It was an immature joke but how many mature middle aged men do you know?

A couple of meters away, perched in a tree; Jasper was planning an April fool's joke of his own. He chuckled and adjusted his plastic fangs which Bella had leant him. He watched the man get closer and closer and bent his knees to pounce.

"Jasper Cullen, what do you think you're doing?" Alice said from behind him and Jasper whipped around spattering Alice with fake blood. She closed her eyes but her face was now covered, Jasper shot her a happy grin. He took her in his arms; she struggled but couldn't compete with his strength. She let out a playful scream and Jasper leaped down onto the path, his black cloak streaming behind him.

Jack stopped in his tracks as a vampire dropped onto the path holding a screaming, defenceless girl in his arms covered in her own blood and white as a sheet.

He dropped the bottles in his hand which crashed into the floor and ran screaming to his cart.

Jasper set Alice on the ground happily, she smiled back at him.

"That was cruel." She couldn't keep the excitement out of her voice. Jasper pulled her close and planted a big, fake-bloody kiss on her neck. She closed her eyes and fell limp in his arms.

I may carry this on but only if you want me to, it was fun to write though.
