Some Hearts
I've
never been the kind that you'd call lucky
Always stumbling'
around in circles
But I must have stumbled into something
Look
at me
Am I really alone with you
Ginny thought about all those times with Harry, sitting, talking and just chatting like friends. In this last year, her feelings had gone from "friends" to more than that. She thought about those 3 years when she just sat there, not dropping hints. For those 3 years, she had a huge crush on him, yet seemed to conceal it so well. Only once had Hermione ever expected anything, and Ginny insisted that she was looking at him because his robes were too small. All those times, when he was helping her with Quidditch and she never made a move. She felt like someone had slapped her when she thought about it.
I
wake up feeling like my life's worth living
Can't recall when I
last felt that way
Guess it must be all this love you're giving
Never knew never knew it could be like this
Now that Harry and she was an "item", she felt as if her world was complete. She went around singing and dancing when other girls were crying about how scum-ish their boyfriends had become. Her, dating "The Boy Who Lived"! She could hardly believe it herself, and Molly, was hysteric when she heard. Hermione ran in after Charms when she got Ginny's note about Harry and was ecstatic for her.
But
I guess
Some hearts
They just get all the right breaks
Some
hearts have the stars on their side
Yes, that's right. Ginny had all the stars on her side. Maybe she should have paid attention in Divination. She pondered thought everyday how she was going to get Harry, but she couldn't ever seem to help herself.
Some
hearts,
They just have it so easy
Some hearts just get lucky
sometimes
Some hearts just get lucky sometimes
Yes, she was lucky. In her heart, she had taken Felix Felicis—10 times too much.
Now
who'd have thought someone like you could love me
You're the
last thing my heart expected
Ginny couldn't help but ponder the fact that she would have expected a Horntail Dragon as her boyfriend before Harry. As a little girl at age seven, Ginny expected a handsome prince with rather good looks to come on a white horse and whisk her away; not a boy with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead that came on a broom.
Who'd
have thought I'd ever find somebody
Someone who someone who makes
me feel like this
If she had to describe what made he feel like this, it would be a rollercoaster. Up and down, never ceasing to amaze her, yet stopping enough to bring her down to earth.
Some
hearts
They just get all the right breaks
Some hearts have
the stars on their side
Some hearts,
They just have it so
easy
Some hearts just get lucky sometimes
Some hearts just
get lucky sometimes
Ginny didn't have a heart with "the right breaks"; she had a heart that was open; the kind that was forgiving and welcoming.
