It was a relatively quiet evening, only Jack and Ianto were in the hub. Jack went over the moment in his head a million times, but every time he saw his lover all planning went out the window. Three simple words, but a big idea, to actually tell Ianto, who was stood at Tosh's old workstation gazing at the rift monitor, it wasn't that it was hard, Jack simply didn't want Ianto to get hurt, but he wanted Ianto to understand that although Jack has forever, they can only have a small amount of time together. Jack stood up and walked down to where Ianto was working, he pulled Ianto up and turned him around. Jack cupped his lovers face gently and gave him a soft and loving kiss.
