Jake sully is a human who lives on Pandora. He is an avatar which has human DNA combined with Na'vi DNA, the human invents the avatars because they want to explore Pandora's biosphere, but Jake changes his mind to help and save the Na'vi in the war against the humans in 2154. So he became the new leader of Na'vi. Jake helped the Na'vi rebuild Pandora after the war.
After the humans lose the war with the Na'vi, all humans are expelled from Pandora and sent back to Earth. In 2187, the earth was having a severe energy crisis again, because humans couldn't keep developing the unobtanium as all the energy to work the machine was on Pandora. Unobtanium is the only resources which human can use, they already have depleted Earth's natural resources at 2154. The human believes if they want to keep mining the Unobtanium, they must capture the whole of Pandora and conquer the Na'vi. So humans use the remaining resources to make a very strong fleet with a big mothership, the mothership also carries lot of mining machinery and the army.
At the same time, on Pandora, after the war, the humans destroyed the hometree and the Na'vi can't recover it because it's a huge project. The Na'vi people currently stay around the Tree of Souls. Jake helps the Na'vi to rebuild the residence and teach them some methods which the humans use, it can make the rooms more comfortable.
That day the humans fleet after 1 years of sailing finally arrives at Pandora, they decide landing the mothership nearby the Tree of Souls because there is the living place of Na'vi and the machine detects an outlet of a lot of Unobtanium under the Tree of Souls, this time the humans don't send the avatars to negotiate with the Na'vi, because they know the Na'vi will not agree that.
"It's the human's fleet! we need get out of here!" jack said. He knows the humans will kill every one so he wants the Na'vi to leave there as fast as possible.
"Where should we go?" Neytiri asked.
"Go to the hometree!" Jack responded. He makes this decision because the hometree was destroyed by humans at the first war so he thinks the humans will not go there.
Soon, the human's mothership starts landing on the ground, Jack was a human soldier before, so he knows if he could destroy the mothership, the humans will have lost again.
Jack told Neytiri," You need to lead everyone to the home tree, I will take the toruk makto to destroy the mothership!"
Jack calls up all the toruk makto to fly to a medium-sized spaceship which is nearby the mothership, they hijack that ship and set a new course to the mothership's engine nozzle, then he takes everybody to fly out of the space ship but they were attacked by the other space ship, most of toruk makto died under the attack.
The spaceship bumps into the mothership, the mothership losers power crashes on to the land, the rest of the humans Panic and flee back to earth.
The end of the war, Humans go back to the earth, the loss of a large number of weapons and personnel. Navi in the next few years, and even decades have to repair their homes because of the war. The humans don't have the ability to start another war so they only can negotiation with the Navi. At the Navi side, Jack know if the human doesn't have that the sources of energy, their life will be very hard, finally, the human and Navi decide to help each other in the coming days, to rebuild their homes and. The Navi will provide the raw materials they need, while humans provide non polluting machines to help repair the plants and hometree.
