"Hahaha! Yea, and then I was like; 'Devak you'll never get Luna, and my Power Tool dragon'll make sure of it!'" Leo laughs.
"Something wrong Yusei?" Akiza asks, stepping onto the balcony.
"Yea, everything's fine," he replies.
'Then why won't you look at me?' she wonders, "Alright, we'll be inside if you want to join us,"
"So?" Crow asks. "How'd it go?"
"He says nothing's wrong, but he won't even look at me, or anyone. I'm worried," she sighs.
"That's not good, I don't ever remember him being like this," Tank frowns.
"Leave 'im. He'll come round," Jack mutters.
"Yea, well what if he doesn't get better?" Rally snaps.
"Way to be positive Rally," Nervin sighs.
"No, Yusei has to get better, he will. Don't worry," Crow grins.
"Yusei?"
"Huh? Martha, what are doing out here?" he asks.
"Coming to check on you. It's late. Your friends are really worried about you, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't too," she turns to him. "We're all here for you, Yusei. You can tell any of us if something's wrong."
"I know Martha, I know," he replies.
"Anything?" Akiza asks, hopeful.
"Nope. Not a thing. Argh! What am I supposed to do?" Crow growls.
"Where you going?" Nervin calls.
"To talk to Yusei! I'm gonna find out what's wrong!" Crow snaps.
"… Good luck, Crow…" Akiza murmurs.
"Yusei?" Kalin asks.
"Yea," said person replies.
"What's been bugging you?" he asks, slightly worried.
"It's nothing Kalin, just an old memory," Yusei replies, staring out to sea.
"You sure about that?" a voice asks.
"Crow?" he says, surprised.
"Some memory to be standing out on Goodwin's balcony for five days," Jack scoffs.
"Let us help you Yusei," Luna pleads.
"It's nothing, really. You don't need to worry," Yusei says, stepping off of the balcony.
"Cool!" Leo beams. "So you missed my play by play on me and Devak's duel."
"Sorry about that Leo," he replies.
"Hey, no probs! I'll just tell you now!" Leo yells excitedly, earning groans from everyone else.
"Sounds good," Yusei says. 'maybe we'll see each other again dad'
Authors Note: READ ME! This wasn't a plot in a discarded book idea; I think my brain was asleep when I wrote this, so… Well, I can't particularly remember who Leo duelled, Dark Signer wise, so I'll just hedge my bets and go with Devak. I think they're quite OOC, but then I think I got their characters well so I don't really know. The title sucks, sorry. If you think you can see implied pairings then go ahead, I saw two, but that's just my twisted brain (I have a theory I dropped on my head when I was a child). I also clearly stated that I will die before I pair Yusei up with anyone, but my OC's may change my mind in the distant, distant future. I'll stop boring you now.
