Reyna sighed and pulled the band from her hair that kept it up, letting her dark hair fall around her tanned shoulders. Reyna was lying on her back on the hill; the same one Hazel had taken Percy on his first day at camp, looking at the stars. She didn't know why but Reyna had a sudden urge to go through the tunnel that ran through the hillside and walking into the city just to roam and to clear her mind. Reyna walked for what seemed like forever through the long hallway but when it's just a girl and her thoughts thing always seem to take longer especially when the thought of being shut out by both Percy and Jason worms its way into her head. When she finally cleared the tunnel entrance the general clamber of the busy city filled her senses. After a while of wondering through the streets a while she spotted a road side cafe that looked good to her, but on her way over something caught her eye she had a feeling she should ignore it but it being a dull night and all curiosity won over.
Reyna stepped slowly and cautiously into the alley hand ready to unsheathe her dagger if necessary. All of a sudden a trashcan to her right rattled as a seventeen year old boy sprang from his hiding place holding a curved imperial gold dagger to her throat, pushing her against a wall, and saying in a raspy voice "who are you and how did you find me your not a mortal your... different" and as the mystery boy was talking two Cyclops snuck up behind him. Reyna gave a small squeak and when he turned behind him to discover that he was being suck up on Reyna rolled to the side just barely avoiding being hit by the Cyclops's powerful blow. There was a sickening crunch as the two clubs impacted in to the boys arm and leg throwing him into the adjacent wall Reyna guessed breaking his arm and leg. While the Cyclopes were recovering she unsheathed her dagger and jabbed one in the side reducing him to dust but before she could take care of the other she had to back off to avoid being crushed by the other Cyclops's rage filled blows and then he started to charge but before she could think of anything she covered with golden dust uncomprehending she stared at where the boy had been knocked to he was sitting there with another throwing knife already ready in case he had missed or at least she hoped that's why.
Reyna hurried to where the boy was sitting on against a wall "are you okay" she asked with worried eyes realizing her stupid question to late "yup I'm fine he responded using the wall to push himself up with his one good leg. "you really should-" but before Reyna could finish the took a step crying out in pain and falling over onto his bad arm causing more pain filled shouts "let me take you some where safe" Reyna said putting a hand on his shoulder to comfort him "I have friends there that can help you" he only shook his head and said "the last time tried to take me somewhere safe I ended up in Alaska and it was not safe" .He tried to take another step and passed out from the pain "well guess that means you're coming with me tough guy" Reyna said pulling out a whistle from under her shirt and blowing into it, it only took a minute for Scipio to appear and twice that long for her to get the limp bodied boy on in front of her. As soon as Reyna figured they were about as stable as they could get (which wasn't very) she took of taking them to her praetors house.
