She left me on that cold hard earth
That hard and painful patch of earth
Even though I looked at her with longing
She would not answer my calling
I had lost my love
The heavens from above
Had taken my angel from my arms
And had lead her heart to painful harms
She had thought I had not cared
But her look of hatred was more then I could bare
I tried to call her by sweet and lovely name
But all she gave me was a look of shame
I had lost my love
But at last my heart did shove
Her out of thoughts and mind
Because at last my heart was with the Divine
