A/N: As you may have noticed, in "The Ember Island Players", Aang was wearing Shu's hat. I decided to write a story about how he got the hat...

Aang's POV

"Ah hah!" I say to Shu. "I knew it! I knew you were the same guy: the shop owner and the boat driver!"

"Oh!" He says. "You must be talking about my brothers, Doc and Shu."

"No, I'm talking about you!" I exclaim. "You just switched hats and called yourself a different person!"

"Oh, you know who does that?" He asks.

You, I think to myself.

"My brother, Doc," He leans in, and whispers, "He's crazy."

And he walks away, with me fuming.

"ENOUGH!!" I yell. I bend water from the river and push Mushi (or Doc or Shu) into the murky river. He just climbs back out, and turns to me.

"What was that for?" He asks.

"YOU ARE THE SAME GUY AS YOUR BROTHERS!!" I yell. "YOU JUST SWITCH HATS!!"

"Oh, my brothers do that all the time," He comments.

"UH!!" I groan. "That's it!"

I grab the straw Mushi hat he is wearing, and pull it off. Underneath that hat, there is his red Doc hat. I pull off that hat, and the yellow and red Shu striped hat is underneath. I pull it off, and storm away with all the hats in my arms.

"Come on, guys," I say to Katara and Sokka. "We're leaving. We'll leave the villagers to clean up the river."

Katara and Sokka stare at me for a minute, but then Katara makes Sokka and I an ice raft, and bends us across the river to Appa. We get on Appa, and fly away.

"What do you have in your hands, Twinkletoes?" Toph asks.

"Oh," I say. I forgot about the hats in my hands. I explain the senario to Toph. She laughs. "What?" I ask.

"Nothing, Twinkletoes," She says.

"So, what are we going to do with those hats?" Katara asks.

"I don't know," I say. "The hats are pretty much useless... Never in a million years would I ever wear these ugly things..."

The Ember Island Players

"How will I cover my arrow?" I ask. "I can't wear my headband! I don't have hair, so it won't cover up the top of my head!"

Everyone is deep in thought, when Sokka says, "I know! Wear the hat that you stole from Doc!"

And so... I go to the theater, wearing that stupid yellow and red hat.
