A/N: Before you read, be warned: This story is filled to the brim with OCs- after all, this takes place in an alternate Peach Creek spawned in existence by the DeviantART Ed Edd and Eddy fan community. Most importantly however, I do NOT own Ed, Edd and Eddy, NOR Byakko Tachibana, NOR any of the other Ed, Edd and Eddy OCs mentioned. Byakko in particular is owned by a guy named 'goth-samurai' on DA. The OC, the Romanc'a is my sole property. For those who happen to be fans of the popular Ed Edd and Eddy OCS of DeviantART, also be warned - this story contains strong hints of OC bashing- I strongly recommend you do not read this. As for Byakko's maker, I do otherwise hope he enjoys this story- this may as well be considered Byakko's first ever Fanfic, and I will have done my damned best to remain faithful to his character and tie this story with his "Edventures of the Shooting Star" series in future chapters. The whole point of this story in the first place? That I would fulfill a promise I have made...that Byakko Tachibana will have met his match at last...

In the Beginning

A Peach Creek beyond all recognition...

A bizzare and unlikely turn of events have forever changed the town of Peach Creek and the lives of its residents, particularly those within one of its neighborhoods simply known as the 'Cul-de-Sac.' One bright summer afternoon, as the Eds and the rest of the Cul-De-Sac gang were up to their usual hilariously random antics, they were suddenly greeted by an oncoming horde of moving vans circling their entire street. The kids all watched as a myriad of strange new residents swarmed out of the vehicles to their new homes. Many friendly salutations were exchanged and introductions made, and it turned out that many of these new residents were actually long lost relatives and forgotten childhood friends, all which have been reunited together through a variety of circumstances that led to their departure to the Cul-de-sac.

And yet, as the days passed by, more and more moving vans arrived. Strangely enough, the departed arrivals were all confined to this specific location and no other street within Peach Creek. There are too many people in the Cul-de-Sac. Why, it would seem that the very bowels of the neighborhood would burst asunder from such immense overcrowding...

A/D: I will update this story eventually.

Update: For those of you who have been waiting to see this story for some time now, I deeply apologize. For the most part, college has held me back, but even this past summer, my summer job has keep me busy (heck, I thought I was going to have some chapters done this June, but my job had a shortage of workers at the time). I only ask that those of you who have been waiting to be patient- I know I'm currently back in college now, so I hope to finally get this by either by fall or Christmas break.
