Patrick Squarepants
Chapter One
"NO! Don't go!" Patrick wailed as Spongebob went onto the bus.
"Patrick, I will miss you too, but I need to leave NOW for vacation!" Spongebob said. "It is just a day trip." he added. Before Patrick had time to speak, Spongebob went on the bus, leaving Patrick alone on the chilly night.
Before he had left, Spongebob gave Patrick a list of things to do while he was gone. He read it out loud.
"Dear Patrick, please watch over Gary and my plants while I am gone. All the food is in the drawer in my kitchen, and water you can get out of the sink in my kitchen. Thanks for watching over my things!" Patrick read. "Well, I guess I will just have to live Spongebob's life tomorrow." Patrick said. Then, he went into Spongebob's house. What do I feed Gary? He thought. So, Patrick looked through every drawer in the house. Well, almost every. He didn't look in the drawer in the kitchen.
Eventually, Patrick found a empty can. It had a picture of food on it, which Patrick ripped off. He placed it in Gary's food bowl.
"Here you go, Gary!" Patrick exclaimed. Gary hissed at the bowl and went to bed in Spongebob's room. Patrick followed Gary into the room where he would be sleeping. Patrick thought, Where do I sleep? This is Spongebob's room! So, he slept under the bed on the cold, hard ground.
Chapter Two
"Good morning, Gary!" Patrick said as he turned off the alarm clock by hitting it. "Now, for some food!" He gave Gary more colored pictures. Patrick ate the refrigerator. "Time for work!" he said.
Oh no! What do I wear? Patrick stretched out one of Spongebob's outfits and put it on.
"I'M READY!" Patrick yelled as he headed for the Krusty Krab.
When he entered, Mr. Krab yelled, " PATRICK! Where is Spongebob?"
"I am filling in for him." Patrick said. Lucky for an unexperienced fry cook, the morning was only two customers who ordered Krabby Pattys. Unfortunately, the best Patrick could make for each patty was 2 buns, 1 frozen patty, a whole tomato, a block of cheese, and a whole piece of lettuce.
The customers refused to pay, but Mr. Krabs forced them too. Yet he refused to pay Patrick for the day.
The afternoon was busy. There were many mess ups too. One of the customers ordered a large soda, so Patrick filled his hands with soda and put a straw in it. The customer fled.
"Patrick! Order up!" Squidward said. Patrick read (with trouble), " 1 Krabby Patty and fries."
Patrick made a messed up Krabby Patty, whole tomato, whole lettuce, whole onion, and frozen patty. The customer wanted mustard, so Patrick shoved the bottle in it. Patrick was shortly fired, and Squidward had the job.
"WOW! Spongebob's life is so hard!" Patrick exclaimed while walking home. Now he had to water the plants. Patrick came back with a cup of water with a straw in it. He dug up the plant and put it in the cup. "All done!" he proudly said. At that moment, Spongebob returned and went off the bus!
"Patrick!" Spongebob yelled. "SPONGEBOB!" Patrick exclaimed. The two friends hugged.
"Is everything okay?" Spongebob asked.
"Of course!" Patrick said. "Goodnight, buddy!" Patrick said as he went home.
When Spongebob saw his plants, Gary, and house, he didn't ask Patrick to look after his home and pets.
