A/N: Just a drabble that was stuck in my head. It's short and probably very stupid but I wrote it down anyway so here it is.

"And you're absolutely sure?"
"For the third time. Yes, Hermione, I'm absolutely sure." Harry sighed as he ran his hands through his hair.
Harry, Hermione and Ron sat near the fire in the Gryffindor common room. About five minutes earlier, Harry had come storming in, startling the other two who had been going over an essay for transfiguration. Panting heavily, he had dropped himself on the couch before telling Ron and Hermione the shocking news he had accidentally overheard Dumbledore talk about with McGonagall.
"Blimey, who would have thought." Ron uttered in a daze.
"Definitely not me." Harry mumbled, staring into the fire absently.
"How are you feeling Harry?" Hermione asked, putting a comforting hand on his arm.
At the touch Harry turned towards her. "I don't know." He sighed. "I mean, it's just so sudden. I never thought it would happen so soon."
"I know what you mean." Ron agreed. "I thought he would stick around for a few more years at least."
Hermione nodded too. "It's just so weird. I don't understand how it could have happened."
"Never thought I would see the day that our Hermione didn't understand something." Ron smiled for the first time since Harry had told them the news. "It really is a day full of surprises."
"Very funny, Ron." Hermione huffed, but she couldn't hold back a small smile either and even Harry had to laugh.
"But still… Dragon pox?" she said. "I thought it was a magical disease only children got."
"It's a children's disease, yes. Something every wizarding child has to go through when they're little. I had them when I was three." Ron explained.
"But how could he have gotten them if it's a children's disease?" Hermione wanted to know.
"Well, it is possible to get it when you're older, though it's better that it happens in the first ten years of a child's life because the older you are when you get Dragon pox, the more dangerous it is for you. After thirty you're probably in for a trip to St-Mungo's for a while. After fifty it's a one-way ticket to the cemetery for most." Ron answered with a grimace.
"Sounds like measles." Harry observed.
"Measles?" Ron questioned.
"It's a muggle disease. Sounds like the muggle version of Dragon pox actually." Harry clarified.
"So Harry, they were going to announce it tomorrow?" Hermione asked, steering the conversation back to its original point.
"That's what Dumbledore said." Harry answered. "From what I could hear, they've know for a few days but they wanted to do some tests to make sure, or something."
"I still can't believe it." Ron sighed.
"Can't believe what?" A voice suddenly asked behind them.
The trio turned around startled, but relaxed when they say that it was Neville who had come to join them.
"What were you guys talking about." Neville asked again.
Harry looked at Ron an Hermione in question and when they nodded he turned back to Neville. "You have to promise not to tell anyone. I don't think we're supposed to know yet." Harry said, his voice sounding very serious.
"Alright." Neville agreed suspicious.
Harry glanced at his friends again for a moment before saying: "He's death. The Dragon pox killed him."
Neville looked at him in confusion. "Killed who?"
"Voldemort, of course!" The trio exclaim together.

A/N: When the idea first came to me I thought it was quite funny. Review and let me know whether I failed horribly or not. xD
