Natsu stood at the train station just like it was any other Monday waiting for his training to take him to central Magnolia to work at his day job dealing with legal papers. When a blonde girl rushed past him trying to grab a piece of paper.
As they stood by each other, he kept sneaking glances at her. She had long, blonde hair, a very curvy body. And she was wearing bright red lipstick. Her eyes were a soft brown, full of sparkle and adventure.
As a train flew past the two, a paper flew from Natsu's stack and smacked the woman in the face. Embarrassed, Natsu peeled it off her face, he heard an adorable snort escape from her. Looking at the paper he saw a perfect lipstick placed on one of the signature line. Snickering, he went to speak to the weirdo, when he saw her getting on a train to leave. As he watched her leave on the train, he felt as if his life would never be the same.
...
Plopping down at his desk, Natsu glanced around the room filled with desks, he noticed his fellow coworkers Grey and Gajeel digging through their paperwork like crazy. Laxus and Gramps going to the office in front of the room. Natsu looked out the window, bored, when he noticed the same blonde from earlier in the building across the street. After waving frantically and yelling loudly trying to get her attention, but only ended up getting a firm smack on the head from Laxus. That's when the brilliant idea popped into his head. Giant stack of pointless paperwork= paper airplanes. Natsu comically made, threw, and bemoaned his luck as each one cringed as one flew into the angry landlady's office, causing Natsu to dive under his desk to avoid her tirade.
Natsu's hand slammed down onto the desk, frantically searching for a piece of paper, looking at Grey's stack. Grey protected his work while glaring at Natsu. Feeling dejected, he saw the lipstick marked page, and just in time! She was finishing her meeting. He threw it and it missed her again!
Grabbing his coat and dodging the bizarre/aggravated looks from his coworkers, Natsu flew out the door to talk to the mysterious celestial being he met earlier that day. Running out of the building, barely avoiding traffic, he sprinted towards where she was, but couldn't find her.
A blinding flurry of white surrounded him, all of the paper planes he made, were pushing here and there. He was thrown around the city sidewalk, and despite the amount of fighting the storm he did, the flurry was winning. It threw him on the train, while a little girl in a cowgirl hat stared at him. Natsu felt ridiculous, and this was coming from the guy with a blue cat and salmon colored hair! All of a sudden, Natsu was back on the train platform. As the storm settled, a glorious halo surrounded the woman he was trying to find. And in her hands was the lipstick marked paper airplane.
And to this day, this was the couple's favorite story to tell their children and grandchildren.
