Prologue
"The object is the Department of Mysteries on the lowest level of the Ministry of Magic."
Everyone was looking at the elderly man speaking these words.
"You'll have to make your way there without being noticed. Once there you will have to make your way past the Unspeakables," he looked serious. "The object will undoubtedly be heavily guarded by Aurors and Unspeakables alike. It will not be easy."
"Yes sir!"
"Only make contact when you have retrieved the object. Then make your way out as quickly as possible, kill everyone that gets in your way. We'll have an escape team ready at the exit of the Ministry. There will be others ready in the Atrium in case you get killed on your way out. Is this clear?"
"Yes sir!"
A soft snigger could be heard. The heads of all persons present turned in the direction of the girl that had uttered the snigger. She was leaning lazily back against a tree and watched the others with a hint of arrogance.
"It won't be there," she said. She shifted her gaze to the leader of the operation. His name was Damien. He was a few years older than her and most women would have found him quite attractive. However, she didn't let matters like that concern her. She pushed herself with forward with her right feet and started walking towards the center of the circle that had formed during the meeting. She shook her head, her long, blonde hair that was tied back in a ponytail swayed slightly.
"It would be too easy," she continued. "Too obvious."
This time her gaze shifted to the eldest of men. She stared at him for a few minutes before speaking again.
"But who am I to stop the operation? Even if it's doomed to fail, even if it means risking the lives of the very best we have?"
Everyone had been watching in silence. They were used to her objecting against almost every plan by now, but never had she spoken directly about it to the Elder.
"Lyra," he spoke with a deep voice. "That is enough."
She shrugged and went back to leaning against her tree as she watched five men Disapparate into the darkness.

A few hours later
"Sir!"
Everyone looked up as the stone the Elder was holding started to glow.
"Sir, can you hear me?"
Lyra recognized Damien's voice.
"Have you found the object?" the Elder asked.
"Sir, it's not here."
Lyra felt everyone's gaze shift to her. She shrugged and couldn't stop a small smirk from forming on her lips.
"It's been hidden in Hogwarts," she said as she walked away from everyone, not caring what would further happen to the warriors.
