A/N: Hi everyone! I'm Jedi Master Megan and welcome to my first story! This will be a multi-chapter story and by the looks of it, it's going to end up being pretty long! This first chapter is okay in my opinion, but it gets WAY better! Hope you enjoy!

One last thing: I want to give special thanks to my friend, who will be known on here as Robotoid Lamb Chop, for betaing this story and giving me the support I needed to actually post this. So you can thank her for this story!

Without further ado, Destiny of the Force!

Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars, just my character Elytra.

The Force

The energy of the universe.

The Force surrounds us, binds us, flows through us. The Force surrounds all life throughout the galaxy. Few know of its mysterious ways, and those who do still do not fully understand. They don't understand that the Force can think, don't understand that it has feelings.

The Force can sense the fight between light and dark in the galaxy, and right now the dark is winning. The Force can sense the lives being snuffed out every day due to the warring powers. It can feel the darkness growing stronger every passing minute. The Force encompasses all, past, present, and future. The Force sees the darkness consuming the galaxy. The repercussions of which would last for years to come.

The Force followed the events of the future back to the present. It seemed the fate of this galaxy rested on the decisions of four people. Three Jedi and a Senator. The Force sought them out, hoping to prevent the impending doom. It just so happened that all four were located in the same place; flying on a beaten-up starship in the outer rim of this galaxy.

How shall I fix this? The Force stretched out, reaching far beyond the limits of this galaxy. The Force found the answer in a girl on a distant planet, far beyond the boundaries of this galaxy. This will do perfectly. The Force focused on the four and worked its magic.

Anakin Skywalker watched the stars out the viewport as he flew The Twilight. His old master, Obi-wan Kenobi, sat in the seat beside him. Ahsoka was in the back, along with a certain senator from Naboo. In fact, that was where they were headed.

The three Jedi were tasked with escorting Senator Padme Amidala to the planet of Naboo. (Her last name is technically Skywalker but no one else knows that.) More attempts had been made on her life. The Queen of Naboo told her to come back to the planet in hopes she could lay low for a while. As if Padme could lay low.

The Jedi Knight mentally scoffed. If there was one thing he knew about his wife, it's that Padme won't stop until she feels like her work is done, which is almost never. Shaking his head, he thought about what he could do to get her to relax. He, Ahsoka and Obi-wan had been scheduled to take a week or two off from the front. They were just going to relax at the temple, but why not relax on Naboo instead? He could spend some more time with Padme then. He voiced his idea to Obi-wan.

"I don't see why not. I'm sure the council will allow it." Obi-wan replied. They both smiled at the thought. They had a lot of memories of Naboo, some good and some bad. But neither could deny that fact that the planet was beautiful and was one of the best places in the galaxy for a vacation. Obi-wan went to the back to contact the council right as Ahsoka and Padme walked into the cockpit. "Senator, Ahsoka," Obi-wan greeted them.

"Please, just call me Padme, Obi-wan. You've known me since I was 12," she replied. Obi-wan offered her a small smile in acknowledgment and continued to the back of the ship. Anakin rolled his eyes and saw Ahsoka doing the same. Obi-wan could be so formal. Anakin and Ahsoka made fun of him for it all the time.

"Where's Master Kenobi going?" Ahsoka asked, taking over his spot in the copilot's seat.

"To contact the council," he replied. "We thought we could take our vacation here on Naboo." He smiled slyly at Padme in way so only she could see it. "Maybe Senator Amidala could show us how to have a good time there. Her eyes twinkled with amusement.

"I'm sure I could find something entertaining for you Jedi to do," she teased. Anakin let out a laugh.

"That'd be awesome!" Ahsoka shouted, almost bouncing out of her seat. "I've always wanted to visit Naboo!" She frowned. "Though, knowing our luck, something's bound to go wrong."

"Don't worry, Snips," he said. "I'm sure we'll be fine!" Before Ahsoka could say anything, a bright light engulfed them all.

Elytra Lasace opened the door to her apartment and threw her backpack off to the side. Her mom wasn't home. No surprise there. Her mom was rarely home, often working late. She's basically been living on her own for the past three years, her dad long gone and no other family that she knows of. Her mom often came home in the late hours of the night only to leave a couple hours later.

She loved her mom, but she couldn't help but feel some resent towards her. She was hardly a part of her daughter's life! The more she thought about it, Elytra hasn't had good contact with her mom since she was 14. She was almost 18 now, in her last year of high school. Once she finished, she planned to leave for college hopefully. She had saved up some money by working summers. Most likely, it wouldn't be enough and she didn't know if she could count on her mom for more. She still had some kinks to work out in her plans for the future.

Sighing, she grabbed her homework from her backpack and started working on it. Several hours later, when she was finally finished, she made herself a quick dinner. At least her mom bought some food for her. She ate the sandwich she had finished making and went to her room to relax for the rest of the evening.

The only comfort in her life was Star Wars. She doesn't remember where she heard about it. All she knows is the first time she saw A New Hope, she instantly fell in love with the franchise. She had all the movies and tons of books. Not to mention all the episodes of The Clone Wars and Rebels she had recorded on the TV from the living room. (Which she had moved into hers, it's not like anyone else was using it.) She also read fanfic all the time on her laptop.

She could easily get lost in the fictional universe, and she enjoyed every minute of it. She loved all the characters and often found herself wishing she could be part of their world. At least it seemed more interesting than her dull life. She was about to turn on an episode of Rebels when a bright light engulfed the room.
