"Spin the bottle!"
"Are you out of your mind?!"
Midori, I swore the god I'd kill her some day for this. Before I could utter a simple "no", I found myself the only one still standing.
"Ara, Natsuki. Sit down."
I looked at Shizuru who was patting the empty space in the circle next to her. Why, why did I agree to come here in the first place? Right, I didn't. I was dragged here against my will. Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew I shouldn't have been drinking so much alcohol to get myself through this party-like event. I felt someone grabbing my wrist and pulling me down so I sat unwillingly on the floor. I gave an icy stare at Midori's direction.
"Natsuki! You're up first!" Midori announced enthusiastically.
"What?! No!"
"But the bottle says so; choose a person you'd like to kiss."
"That's… No way I'm going to…"
"If you can't choose anyone, we'll do it for you." Mai teased.
"I know, I know! She has to kiss Shizuru again!" Aoi spoke up before anyone had time to suggest anyone else.
"Again? What do you mean… MAI! That was confidential what I told you!"
"I might have mentioned that to few," Mai said with a sly smile playing on her lips.
"Few?! One is enough as it is. Ah, great, now the whole school knows."
"Well, what are you still waiting for then?" Midori asked.
"But I can't… we're not… it was not like…"
"Just kiss me already," Shizuru said impatiently and pulled me closer.
"SHIZ---" But she covered my mouth with hers before I could say anything else. She kissed me gently but passionately and I lost myself in that kiss. I don't know if it lasted more than a minute, I lost a track of time. I was brought to my senses when Midori spoke up.
"Oh, go get a room already!"
"Shush, I want to see this," Chie whispered as if not wanting to interrupt anything. She had her cell phone out and was obviously recording everything. But Shizuru was already standing up; she holding my wrist and gesturing me to stand up as well. So I did, feeling a bit confused.
"Fine, if you'll excuse us, we shall do just that." She stated and started walking towards the door.
"Shizuru, what are we doing exactly?"
"Ara, getting ourselves a room," she said, smiling at me.
"Eh… I'm not sure that's---"
"Everyone, see you tomorrow!" She interrupted me and dragged me out to the hallway with her. She didn't let go of my wrist before we reached her room. There she pushed me gently against the wall, I could smell the sweet scent of alcohol when her head was an inch away from mine. I was about to object but I remembered what the kiss felt like. I didn't think about the next day or that the whole school would be aware of this before breakfast, I didn't think anything because I was lost in that passionate kiss again.
