Watching the taillights disappear around a corner, Sam couldn't muster the disbelief and anger that would normally be involved with this situation. Once again, some supernatural creature got its claws into the younger hunter and made him reveal certain… information regarding his feelings and emotions. Once again, Dean got fed up with him and wouldn't listen to a word Sam used to explain.
'He ditched me again and there's not going to be an ugly-looking scarecrow to save him from this time.'
Sighing in defeat, he painfully lowered his tall frame to the street curve. He was not going to call Ruby. He was on his own.
