Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon. So don't bother me about that!

Another spin-off from Free Time. I haven't been working on another one of these is a while, I've been too caught up with Legendary Pokemon...xp I decided that I need to see more Sableyes on this site...I find stories about them being on the rare side...

Chapter 1

"Uhhh...Can you repeat that?!" Rin exclaimed, looking Mahi straight in the eye. Her older sister shrugged carelessly.

"I wanna take Sableye to school with me." She answered simply. Rin shook her head in disbelief.

"Why?" she asked as the Pokemon in question climbed to her shoulder and settled upon her head. An Abra, Kooky, was also settling on Mahi's head, immediately falling asleep. "Why not take Kooky?"

"I want to take Sableye to my Earth Science class. It would be awesome to have a class mascot in. And he'd have lots of fun."

At the word 'fun' Sableye's ears perked up in interest. No way was he going to miss out on this.

"Mascot? I thought it was an Onix." Rin said, crossing her arms. Mahi paused.

"Yeah it is. But who'd bring an Onix to class? Honestly? Sableyes are much more portable. And I'm sure the icon will change once they meet him."

Rin sighed and looked up at her Pokemon. Sableye looked down at her face and smiled.

"What do you want, Sableye?" she asked her Pokemon, thinking this should be his decision. "Do you want to waste a chunk of your life in my idiotic sister's school?"

Sableye didn't hesitate to nod eagerly. He did want to waste a chunk of his life on fun. That's practically what Sableyes are all about.

Rin groaned as Mahi celebrated by jumping up and down and cheering, much to Kooky's discomfort. He managed to make a soft protest and it succeeded in calming his excited trainer.

"Sorry, Kooky. I forgot you were up there."

The Abra shrugged before going back to sleep again. Mahi tried to hold in a squeal of excitement and snatched Sableye from her sister's head. Rin moaned as her older sister rushed out the door without her bookbag…

"Why do I have a feeling this is gonna end badly?" she asked mainly to herself, her Eevee who was just walking by, looking up at her, then at the wide-open door, then back to her. The small Pokemon just shrugged.

First chappy is short...I was originaly planning this to be a oneshot like the other spin-offs, but figured that I might as well put it as a short chappy story...yeah...don't forget to review, so I know that other people adore Sableyes as much as I do!
