'What is that sound? It sounds kinda muffled whatever it is.' As the Elric brothers got closer, they saw a girl who looked to be about 17 being held down by a rather large man who had his hand over her mouth muffling her shouts of protest, and she was surrounded by 3 others. "WHAT the HELL is going on here?" said (shouted) Ed. The one holding her down said "None of your business little guy! Now get outta here." 'Uh oh…' "Little. Did you say LITTLE?! The skinny one to the left of the girl looked at Ed and me and he looked a little scared. He then said: "Uh, boss?" "What?" "I think that's the Fullmetal Alchemist and his little brother." "You mean THE Fullmetal Alchemist?" "Yeah." "Oh shit." All four men ran through the back of the alley. "AND DON'T LET ME SEE YOU AROUND HERE EVER AGAIN OR ILL KICK YOUR ASSES! YOU HEAR ME?!" Shouted Ed.
While he was still shouting at them I ran over to the girl who had propped herself up on the wall and had her arms around her legs. "Thank you for helping me." She said. I smiled. "No problem. We couldn't just leave you there could we?" That made her smile just a bit.
"Ahem. Excuse me, miss?" "Yeah?" "Shouldn't I be the one being thanked? I am the one who scared them off." "Oh yeah. Thank you." "You're welcome." I stood up and looked for the turquoise cloak I saw tossed to the side a minute ago. I walked over to it and as I picked it up I realized it had landed in a puddle. 'Well I guess she can't wear that.' I set it down, but not in the puddle. I took off my cloak and wrapped it around her bare shoulders. She jumped a bit and looked at me. Was that a blush? "Thank you guys again." She looked at her torn gloves where both palms were ripped. "I would've been able to kick their asses if they hadn't torn my gloves"
'Her gloves?' "Hey can I see those?" I asked. "Uh, sure." She showed me her palms and even though her gloves were torn, I could see the two identical water transmutation circles. 'So she's an alchemist.' "So you're an alchemist?" "Yeah" "well let's get you to your house. Where do you live?" "Uh… currently? Nowhere. I got kicked out because I couldn't pay the rent in time. Heh." She gave me a sheepish smile. "Okay, well you can come to our apartment and you can get cleaned up there." "O-okay. Thanks."
