AU. Set after the first part of Tiberian Sun. When Nod loses the war, Kane decides that the best thing for Nod is leave Earth for Sonic's world, Mobius. When radiation from Tiberium missiles awakes Cosmo from the dead, she goes to war against Nod.

PROLOGUE

The Coming of the Brotherhood of Nod

THE CITY OF QURAST, MOBIUS

JUNE 23, 2032

Amy Rose was busy shopping at the Midori mall, with her best friend Cream the rabbit. Three days before, Cream' s chao Cheese died of unknown causes, and Amy took Cream out to kill the pain shopping.

The two friends wee busy choosing dresses for an upcoming party at the Embassy of Ages in Grand Metropolis when Cream noticed an unusual aircraft approaching the iFruit headquarters, the tallest building in all of Qurast.

"What is that thing?" asked Cream nervously.

"I don't..." Amy stopped for a moment. At that very second, there was a huge flash of light, and total blackness.

ABOARD THE MONTAUK

UNKOWN LOCATION

JUNE 24, 2032

Anton Slavik was reading the reports coming in from outside Qurast. He just got to reading the casualty report when the electronic voice of the A.I. CABAL chimed in.

"At this point in our conquest, the best strategy would be to eliminate all Mobian resistance in the deserts of Antiga so that the Brotherhood forces can establish a base. " CABAL began.

"Acknowledged CABAL. I will alert Kane so that we could prepare for the conflict in that area." Slavik replied. "Peace through power!"

GRAND METROPOLIS

JUNE 25, 2032

Sonic was walking with Tails through the commercial sector of Grand Metropolis. On one building, there was a huge LCD panel showing the reports from the ruins of Qurast.

"They must be preparing for military action against Eggman for that." Sonic quipped.

"In any case, we need to be on guard for future attacks." Tails added.

That second, the signal was lost from Qurast, and the emblem of the Brotherhood of Nod appeared on the screen.

"What the hell is that?" asked Tails.

"Who knows, but I have a bad feeling about this." Sonic answered.

A strange, bald, man with a goatee was suddenly on the screen.

"Greetings, people of Mobius. I am the messiah, Kane. The Brotherhood of Nod is responsible for the nuclear attack on Qurast. I am the leader of that organization, and if you are interested in joining, I welcome you with open arms. If not, I will reveal your fate. In fifteen minutes three missiles filled with the toxic element Tiberium will explode in your planet's atmosphere. The explosions will fill your atmosphere with the element. No one can stop this glorious transformation. Deus ex Kane!"

'This man is a total lunatic!" Sonic yelled.

"We will stop you Kane!" Tails growled. At that instant two gunshots rang out, and both Sonic and Tails were dead.
