Anna's Dream, Anna's Warning
By Daggershard
Hey, Daggershard here! I am SO sorry for not working on any of my fanfics lately! I am not going to say is was because of school or anything like that because it's been TWO FREAKIN' YEARS! I'm just going to say it straight, like a man: I. Forgot. There, done. Sue me if you're angry. But, I plan on working on all my future stories as much as possible, so don't get angry if I don't work on any of my past stories very much (or at all) later.
Anyway, this story is part one of a two-part Frozen mini-series that'll be a prequel to a future Frozen fanfic I'm planning. This story that you are currently reading takes place after the movie, and the other part will take place before the movie. It doesn't matter which one you read first. So, without further ado, let's begin. Raise the curtain!
Two years after the events of Frozen…
Anna was beat. She had just spent the past six hours trying to teach Olaf how to read, but without a brain the guy couldn't learn a thing. Anyway, after changing into her pajamas and crawling into her bed, the red-haired girl fell right asleep. And then REM started…
Anna was walking through a foggy Arendelle, but it looked as different as it looked familiar; buildings were burnt, windows shattered, and Anna could swear she saw what looked like a dead body between two houses.
"What happened here?" Anna asked to no one in particular, although she hoped that someone would answer her in this desolate wasteland of dream-Arendelle ("Arendream", anyone?).
Soon a sound that excited but also frightened Anna rang clear throughout the kingdom—swords clashing.
"People!" Anna said, and, after hesitating a moment, took off running towards the sound.
Running through the fog, which was now too thick to see through, Anna heard the clashing grow louder, more numerous. Soon Anna exited the fog to see a terrifying sight: In front of her, hundreds upon hundreds of armored men with swords and lances were fighting grey-skinned creatures that looked just like the people of Arendelle.
"Wh-What the…" Anna stammered, and then looked behind her to see that dream-Arendelle had disappeared and replaced by the castle, a grey-skinned Elsa wearing a dark dress and holding a sword made of grey ice standing on the steps to the castle doors, and next to her was a grey=skinned version of… Hans. Anna screamed, but the fighting behind her continued and her sister and Hans still looked over the battlefield, both smiling evilly.
Suddenly a thin, cold hand grabbed Anna by the shoulder and turned her around to see an old man with an ice dagger in his heart, gasping for air like a fish.
With one tremendous scream that made the battle sound like a whisper, the old man shouted, "B-Beware... of the Sh-Shades!"
Then Anna woke up.
