The Prologue - What of Now?
How did it all get to this point?
I'm being calmed down by these wonderful military officials, but my heart aches and pains.
My husband is fighting what could be the battle of his life. I know nothing of my son's whereabouts or condition.
They are my life, my everything!
I was so happy with my family for so long, no matter what. I was dedicated to raising my son to be as smart, handsome, and wonderful as his father and he's well on his way. I was a loving wife to my husband. I don't think I'd have lived such a great life if I hadn't ever met him.
My son is not really my son. We'd tried so hard and we couldn't have any children, so we adopted my little Selim.
Every knows me as Mrs. Bradley.
The Bradley name is known throughout all of the country of Amestris, because we are the family that rules it. Well, my husband does all of the ruling. I'd prefer not to get mixed up in all of that military stuff. However, it doesn't mean that I'm naïve.
How could someone like me end up being the wife of the Furher president of Amestris? Well, I'd have to start from the very beginning when it comes to my story.
You see, I may not poke my nose into too much business when it comes to the military, but I do have my very own story. Most people probably wouldn't have the time to hear it.
I guess I should start from the very beginning shouldn't I?
I'll be sure to do my best to remember everything.
A/N: This story randomly came to my mind. I bet there's a little amount of people that even pay attention to Mrs. Bradley. This story is mainly about her. But it'll get deeper than that.
We will journey through the life of a woman deceived by the family she believes in.
We will see the origins of King Bradley in detail.
We will see what goes on behind the facades in the lives and POV's of both human and homunculus. Some chapters will be in third person as some events cannot be described by those who experience them.
Let the tale commence.
