Leo can be a dangerous person to be around, though Yuiko would readily state that he's a softy on the inside.
His eyes strike fear in the hearts of strangers and send shivers down their spines.
An exaggeration? Maybe. But the expressions on their faces suggest fear unbeknownst to those closest to him.
It would be lying to say Yuiko never feared Leo because her fear was much different from that which strangers feel when they first see him.
People that have absolutely no knowledge of Leo's true personality automatically assume a fear of his entire presence. This poses a problem that directly interferes with his social life. If people were to look past his rather unnerving features, they would realize that his intentions are pure.
He does indeed have a dark side that lashes out at others when blood is in sight, but doesn't everyone have some kind of beast locked up inside of them? Can't they feel it ready to attack if danger is sensed? Can't they see it positioned to pounce if problems arise?
There is no doubt that if needed, this beast will unleash all of its fury upon that which is considered a serious threat.
