Blaine slowly opened his eyes to harsh sunlight streaming in through the window. Despite this he smiled softly to himself; peering down to see soft hair in front of him, highlighted blonde by the sun's rays. He pressed his chest closer to Kurt's back, glad for, not only the warmth provided by body heat, but the warm feeling in his stomach from being so close to Kurt. He tightened his arm around Kurt's stomach and pulled him impossibly closer. This caused Kurt to stir slightly, before settling again with a content hum.
Being poked and prodded by a harsh finger. "Wake up boys, you two don't need to be in the same bed any longer than necessary". Blaine was far too content to consider his usual manners and mumbled "g'way". Burt chuckled at this and all too suddenly a surprisingly hard pillow was thrown at his face, causing Blaine to yell out. "I want you away from each other in five minutes", Burt stated before he walked back down the stairs. Blaine stretched and peered over at Kurt, who was, unsurprisingly, still asleep. Blaine always loved how deep of a sleeper Kurt was, as it meant he could watch over him as he slept, taking in all his beautiful features.
Blaine was just settling back into his original position when he was suddenly shoved into the mattress, with someone's elbow in an uncomfortable place. "Dudes, mom's making pancakes! You don't want to miss these!" Finn shouted right into his ear. "Okay, I get it Finn; I'll pass", Blaine snarkily replied, turning over to indicate he was done with the conversation. Blaine assumed Finn had admitted defeat and left, when suddenly; "But they have chocolate chips dude" was once again yelled down his ear. "Finn, I'm fine", was the reply. "Burt Kurt loves them, dude". Blaine considered waking Kurt up for a moment just to see the joy on his face when he found out there were pancaked, but Blaine decided to be selfish for another moment and resume snuggling, after all, with school, protective parents, and Glee, it was hard to find the time to just enjoy each other's company.
Finn finally got the hint and stomped out the room, his footsteps audible all the way down the stairs. With a chuckle, Blaine once again turned towards Kurt, scooped him up in his arms, and closed his eyes, meaning Kurt was lying on his chest with Blaine's arms protectively around him. After five minutes, Blaine opened his eyes to see two others staring at him. "Aaah!" Blaine screamed. "Oh, sorry sweety, I didn't mean to startle you; you two are just two cute, is all". Blaine sighed, he couldn't ever fault Carole. "Do we need to get up?" He said with resign in his voice. "I'm afraid so sweety, everyone has to try my pancakes, otherwise they do cleaning up for a week, you have two minute boys".
Blaine sighed, finally admitting defeat and reached down to gently shake Kurt awake when he heard a small giggling sound. Looking down, he saw Kurt with his eyes closed trying to hold in a laugh. "Kurt?" Blaine questioned. "I'm sorry", Kurt said between laughs, "but you just get so mad when you can't snuggle". "You were awake this whole time?" Blaine asked, exasperation and admiration in his voice. "Well, just because you were getting the third degree didn't mean I couldn't get some rest". Kurt stated proudly. "You are just impossible", Blaine said with a smile on his face. Kurt's smile widened into a grin as he said "you know, the sooner we go down for pancakes, the sooner we can cuddle". Blaine had never moved faster.
