BEEP...BEEP...BEEP...BEEP-
Officer Dayanara Diaz is an average sized but voluptuous state guard at a penitentiary. She wakes up every morning to an empty apartment in the Bronx. She lives to work with her bestie Officer Maritza Ramos. They don't really strive to be wardens, but they need to finance schooling.
"Ugh, another shitty day at Litchfield. Lucky me. I need something good to happen to me today no matter how fucking small." Officer Diaz uttered disdainfully, fingering a stale box of powdered donuts.
"Oh, you said it girl, we need a break."Her right hand partner, Officer Ramos, retorted as she walked through the door."We must have the crappiest jobs in the history of the fucking world."
"And you don't even want to know long its been since I got any." Diaz laughed while Ramos lightly shoved her.
"Hey, you're preaching to the choir."
A black-gray and slightly balding head pokes through the entrance of the workroom. The workroom isn't that glamorous. There are two tables and six chairs with a coffeemaker and microwave. Every once in a while there will be stale leftover pastries by the sink.
"Okay, ladies, we need you for count."
"Yeah Joe, we're on our way."
"We're coming."As Caputo becomes out of their field of vision they flick off the spot they last saw him. They have a silent play fight about who should walk first. It turns into a game of push and shove. They both end up running out of breath, bending over.
"Okay,"Diaz says breathlessly"because I'm nice I will be the bigger person and go first."
What started out as a fight about who would go first became a race to see who would get there first.
