Strawberry Laces - 13th July - Two Days To Go!!!
Ichigo was having lunch with Rukia and the guys like any normal day except today wasn't normal. Rukia had decided to wear her hair up and it caused her to receive (unwanted) attention, especially from Keigo. It took every fiber in Ichigo to not smack his friend into next week but, what annoyed him more was the fact that Rukia was acting along with it and enjoying the compliments that he dished out.
"OHHH KUCHIKI-CHAN, YOUR HAIR IS LOVELY TODAY!!!" Keigo exclaimed while prancing around said girl.
"Why thank you Keigo, it was nice that somebody noticed" she replied in her sickly sweet tone while giggling behind her hand, which wouldn't bother him usually but there was a glint in her blue eyes that meant she actually did appreciate the compliment. He also wasn't stupid enough to not notice that the somebody remark was directed at him.
He stood there watching the events unfold with a twitch in his eye as he unclenched and clenched his fists trying to hold himself back.His teeth were being ground to dust and his reiatsu was more errattic than usual.
Meanwhile a certain Quincy was relishing in the substitute shinigami's pain.
"Hmmm... Chad?"
Chad turned to face his friend with a look that said he was listening.
"When do you think Ichigo is going to notice that Kuchiki-chan always has something strawberry flavored at Lunch?" Chad just shrugged his shoulders in response. Ishida was right though she did have something strawberry flavored every lunchtime. Although he hadn't seen what it was today.
He turned back to Ichigo who was trying to look nonchalant and failing horribly. The vein popping dangerously on his head was a bit of a giveaway. Ishida smirked he was about to do something to Keigo. Almost immediately after Ishida thought this Ichigo stood up and stomped towards Keigo who had attempted to hold Rukia's hand, whenever Keigo tried to make physical contact that was when Ichigo stepped in.
He punched Keigo who then ran toward Muizuiro calling Ichigo a meanie. Ichigo at the moment was too preoccupied to notice this though because in the shock of it all Rukia had dropped her bag and he was helping her pick it up.
There - in all its glory - on the floor was a packet of strawberry flavored laces that had fallen out of her bag. Ishida smirked as Rukia snatched it up and hastily placed it in her bag all the while coming up with every insult under the sun for his shinigami friend.
"It won't be today anyway" the Quincy said to his Mexican friend.
