Hi my name is Violet Night or Violet as my mother calls me, I'm 15 at the moment so I'm about normal pony size.
"Violet! Come here dear you need to practice!" My mother calls.
I groan. The joys of being a daughter! I patter down the steps to my mothers room and onto the balcony. She starts for me, once shes half way I use as much power to lift the moon steadily into the sky as my mother aray's the stars. Oh yeah, if you haven't guessed I'm princess Luna's daughter. I was born through magic my mother had produced best she could to form me properly into an alicorn. Technically I was born an alicorn but who knows, its only the first time a filly was born through magic, considering my god mother was the creator of the spell. My god mothers name is Princess Twilight Sparkle, you've probably heard of her. Although my aunt Celestia doesn't have a Filly, she promised me she would help my mother create another through, of course magic! although I've never really been fond of becoming the next moon princess or whatever, I still have to practice.
Tonight at 12 is the beginning of the summer sun festival and guess what? I turn 16 then too! Now because I was born during the longest and most important day of the year, my mother see's to it that I am the mane attraction, of everything! I hate to spoil the party but I'm not a pony type of mare, I prefer to be alone, but my mother being stubborn and all I don't think my aunt wants to send her to the moon, again! At 10 I have to put on a dress and do my hair. I am glad that Rarity is doing it, I don't need another hair explosion because my mother forgot to jel my mane, grr. When the time comes Rarity has a long, sparkly blue, silk dress and slides it over my head, after the to big of a head incident she curls my hair in ringletes. I don't mind the dress, like damn its gorgeous! but with the curls it's to die for! Finally 11:50 comes and everyone, I mean everyone shows up, like even princess cadence and shining armors son is here! His name is Prince Shining heart. I really like...uh never mind!
