A/N: This first one is pretty short most of them will be longer than this, a few might be shorter. This actually wasn't going to be the one to introduce these drabbles but I haven't finished writing "Rumor has it" and I just had to post something.
Anyway, Enjoy. Review if you like. And I'll continue.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters, nor do I own Fullmetal Alchemist.
And now it begins-
"If you were tired of me, you should have just told me," the teen all but screamed at his superior officer, "I would hate to impose but I didn't know I was that much of a burden!"
"Edward…" Roy growled warningly.
"You didn't have to keep me around so you could rub it in my face that you're sleeping around, screwing other people!" Ed hissed.
"Then I guess we've reached an understanding. You no longer live here and we're very much through with this game we've been playing!" The older man yelled back, voice equally as loud as Ed's and he had ended their relationship just like that.
The younger of them didn't even bother to wipe the stray tear that ran down his cheek. He was shaking his head violently, "A game?" he whispered vehemently, more to himself than to Roy. "Always just a fucking game." He whipped around and headed for the stairs.
"And I was never cheating on you!" Roy called after him. Ed seemingly ignored him and continued on his way upstairs.
"I'll be leaving in the morning," He said before running the rest of the stairs and to the bedroom, slamming the door.
The hurting boy hurled himself onto the bed that him and Roy had shared and cried. "Stupid, stupid… fucking stupid," he sobbed into the pillow, slamming his fist repeatedly on the mattress. Eventually he had cried himself to sleep.
Just a few hours later the golden eyes cracked open. He pulled himself up into a sitting position, glancing at the clock. It was just a bit past seven am. He quickly dragged himself from the bed, grimacing at how sore he felt. His whole face was stiff as a result of crying so late into the night. His hope now was to be gone before Roy got up.
As fast as he could he collected all of his belongings and shoved them into the suitcase that was stored in the closet. When he was done packing he took a moment and sat on the edge of the bed trying to school his expression into something more passive. He took a few deep, faltering breaths before he made his way to the bedroom door.
It was just a bit after him and Roy had started dating that Ed realized he could rarely deny Roy anything he asked for.
The man had told him to leave, that they were over, so he would abide by that and he would go.
The first thing Edward's foot came into contact with when he stepped out of the room was something solid that was not the floor. The next moment he was sprawled on his side dangerously close to tumbling down the stairs.
"Oh God, Ed. I'm sorry!" Were the first desperate words the boy heard. He sat up to see Roy kneeling infront of him, his face twisted in a worried frown, tell tale tearstains streaking his face. For a moment the blonde was confused as to what the man was talking about but then, "Please. I'm sorry, just please, don't leave."
Ed supposed that it had been a long time ago that he figured he could deny Roy nothing.
