My Sadness and Fake Smile
This is a story about how my sadness and loneliness came to be...
He was going to leave. Leave Naruto, Kakashi, the village, and me... It was because he was searching for power. Power that would help get revenge on his brother, the brother who killed and slaughtered their clan. Him, Uchiha Sasuke, the boy that stole my heart then shattered it all in one day, left. It all started that cold, hurtful night by the campus bench. He was leaving and I tried to stop him but...it didn't work. I told him that I would let out a scream if he dared to leave, but my threat didn't work. With amazingly fast speed, he appeared behind me. I cried, it was the only thing I could do. Over the time my crush became more than a just a small feeling. It became a big feeling from my heart, love.
With hot tears spilling from my eyes while I begged him to stay. I promised that if he stayed I would train my hardest to help him defeat his brother. My pleading and threatening got nowhere. My first love was going to leave. I still remember the words he spoke the night he left. "Sakura... Thank you."
After hearing those three small words, I was knocked unconscience by the one person that meant the most to me. Still crying in my deep sleep, I was placed on the campus bench, left for the village to find me the next morning. (I don't completely know what happened after this so this is going to be partly made up ... heheh) I finally awoke with my heart completly broken. When my friends had found out what had happened I had told them I was totally fine. Lies.. I told them that I wouldn't let the thought of him leaving get to me. More lies... I hid my inside sadness with the fake smile always shown on the outside. It hurt..
But with Sasuke gone I had gotten my best friend back. Yamanaka Ino, also known as my rival and best friend. She had comforted me the most and told me to move on. I tried but I could not! So I kept my promise to him. I was to train my hardest so that the one day we meet again I would help him get revenge. I had asked the Hokage, Tsunade-sama, if i could become her apprentice. She told me that I had been willing to train my hardest and expect the worst. I had to be able to contain information that many genin could not. I told her that I understand the consequences and was willing to give it my all. Hopefully when we meet again my promise will be fulfilled.
