This is based on an actual event in my life. And it was strangely comforting.

It reminded me of a book series called Forever Angels by Suzanne Weyn, but FanFiction doesn't have a category for her.

It also remided me of a show I used to watch all the time called Touched by and Angel

I am the original author of this story since in happened to me. So don't press charges.

Angel

"Why are you so angry?" she asked

"Don't ask me that question! You should be apologizing!"

"I didn't know."

"Well, that's the thing. You never know! You never stop to think!

"I'm sorry." her voice wobbled.

"Oh, don't start crying!"

"Don't tell me what to do" she yelled

"I'm going to hang up."

She slapped the cell phone shut before she even had a chance to.

A quiet sob emitted her lips.

She turned her back into a corner when a stranger brushed past her.

Embarrassed that he had seen her cry she moved further down the concrete wall to stare out at the street hoping he wouldn't see her tears and hoping he wouldn't say anything. Hoping he would be as apathetic as the rest of the world.

"Whatever you're crying about, can't be that bad." he said

"It's not."

"How old are you?"

She turned her face toward him. He was tall with tan skin and dark eyes. He took a drag from a cigarette letting the smoke pour from his lips.

"20" she replied

"You still have a lot of life ahead of you."

"I know. It's just that I have been arguing with my mom a lot."

"You still live at home?" he asked

"Yeah."

"Well, you won't be there forever.

She heaved a sigh and began to rub the tears from her cheeks so her friends wouldn't ask what's wrong.

She wiped underneath her eyes to dispel the remaining moisture and possible eyeliner.

When she about composed herself, she turned to face and thank him.

But he was gone.

She hadn't even heard him leave or say goodbye.

She then turned around and walked back inside to join her friends.

But a constant thought wouldn't leave her mind.

Was he her angel?
