Making Dom Happy—A Drabble

A/N: Another in my "Drabbles" series.
Dominic Santini hadn't needed a lot in his life to make him happy—helping his best buddy, Alan Hawke, raise his two boys, and then taking over that job completely after the terrible accident; running Santini Air, and good Italian dinners with his family were usually everything Dom needed to be happy. Even though I'm not rich, I've got good friends, and good family. And of course, the Lady. Dom had once said to himself. Dom loved flying Airwolf almost as much as String and Caitlin did, after all, and he was the one who christened her "the Lady." But what made him happiest was seeing String finally face his feelings about Caitlin and marry her a few years ago. Just then, Dom heard a Jeep pulling into the parking lot and saw String and Caitlin climb out, beaming. Dom remembered—Cait was going to the doctor today. I sure hope nothing's wrong. Smiling, Caitlin told Dom he was going to be a grandfather, and that made Dom happy. God, I just want to be able to see my grandkids, Dom said to himself as he pulled Cait and String into a warm, congratulatory embrace.
