So. Another death, another disagreement with Sam. This one was ass-backwards of course, about me not killing a monster instead of the other way round.
I'm not gonna argue, Sammy. Too damn tired, and besides, just look at you. Barely holding it together with fucking Lucifer sitting on your shoulder, whispering 24/7.
But Emma was just a kid. My kid. She deserved a chance to fight against destiny, like we fought Michael, Lucifer and the fucking hosts of heaven.
But I get it, Sam, I do.
It's just…if life's a box of chocolates, how come mine's full of mouldy marzipan?
A/N - no judgements on either boy here - just a few thinky thoughts from me about why Dean might not have wanted to kill Emma (besides the obvious, that she was his daughter...)
