It was a long night; Desmond was given free time from the animus, and he used it to find Ezio's burial site. Of course, only he knew the EXACT location, so Lucy and Shaun could not locate him. Slowly walking into the burial site of his late relative; he stared at the unmarked grave for what seemed to be hours. The memories that they shared-no, the memories that Desmond relived as Ezio, they had become a part of him. Ezio Auditore Da Firenze WAS a part of Desmond. From eating food as Ezio, to learning about hidden blade techniques, Desmond felt that he and Ezio were like brothers. He felt like he KNEW his long lost relative. And to an extent..he did. The ex-bartender grabbed a shovel and began digging. Opening the grave with the shovel, he grew frantic, wanting to..see. He bit down on his lip, staring at the remains of the man he felt was a brother. "My friend.." Desmond looked at the skeleton that was clad in the assassin's robes. "We will meet again, soon." Desmond took the robes from Ezio's skeleton carefully. They were torn and beaten, yet they still had their charm. "Farewell.."
