Szayel Aporro Grantz came out of the medical ward with a dark expression. The other Espada anxiously awaited his verdict. "I'm afraid… he's not going to make it." The Espada flooded into the room, to Aizen's bedside, a few of them appearing somewhat sad, and many looking like they didn't give a damn. "But how?" asked Gin in disbelief. How could most overpowered person he had ever met be dying of a mere cold???
At Aizen's funeral, Ulquiorra said the following:
"With the passing of our fearless leader, Sosuke Aizen-sama, the Espada shall undoubtedly cease to function together. I don't believe anyone else will ever have the same capability to unite us against our foes, and as time goes on, we may drift farther and farther apart. However, in respect for his memory, let it be known the causes of Aizen-sama's death."
At that line, a certain white-haired shinigami dissapeared from crowd.
"Aizen-sama had AIDS. He got them from Ichimaru Gin-sama. End of story."
