Shade, a loner, becomes a shadowclan warrior and is renamed Shadeheart. She quickly relizes why they needed more warriors. A 'Evil' cat roams the forest, killing cats with a bloodthirsty clan of rouges/Loners known as Bloodclan. She goes on a border portrol and gets captured by Bloodclan.
