An - at times - wise man told me that a man sometimes needs an outlet for his emotions - I'm still unsure whether he meant his writing or... well... his 'research' but for my peace of mind I will ignore the latter- and I decided to have give it a try. So this is dedicated to Ero-Sannin. I wish I could have seen your reaction should you have ever found out that I had finally found the patience for something as delicate as this. Heh. I miss you Ero-sensei.

Never

Never again

Will my sadness loom

cold and 'lone in the night

on my bed in the dark room

where the shadows roam in the light

of the small unreachable moon

.

Never Again

I'll give up so soon

those that I came to love

I will protect from the gloom

Those waiting in the sky above

I will make proud as they see me bloom

And survive – no matter how tough

.

Never again – never again

Will I allow myself to waver

from the nindo that has become my boon

so my precious people feel somewhat safer

believing that I'll conquer the incoming doom

so everything will finally end in our favor

.

So never again

I'll ever stray away

from the promise I made when

I know that there is one more day

that I should be able to give them

.

~ End Authors Note ~

...Just to name a few titles.

Though sometimes cliché, Naruto is often a very inspiring character. I hope that the poem fits his character, especially seeing as this is the first I ever published I guess.

(Just to make sure: I don't own Naruto)
