Prologue

9:19 Dragon: Val-Royeaux of Orlais known as a glistening gem across all of Thedas. Home of the Chantry's Grand Cathedral which offered the Maker's followers great tranquility and assurance in the Maker. No one knew this better than Jamir, in fact it had been his shelter since his birth to two farmers who tearfully gave him up to the chantry because they believed they couldn't provide him a good life but also since his rigorous path into the arts of those the chantry and the common folk praise as peacekeepers while various mages apostate or no hiss with concealed disdain the word mage hunter. He was a Templar.
