Hey y'all Summer here! This is a one shot, I might make it a two shot I'm not sure, anyways I hope you enjoy it and on wars with the story my friends!

I smile as I flick through the pages of the photo album, all the photographs from the very start of The Selection till Maxon and I's wedding day. Gosh, I absolutely hated the thought of entering The Selection. Of leaving May, Aspen, my family, my home? It sounded like hell. I only ever imagined my life as someone who sang in stuffy crowded rooms with people eating food, drinking and dancing and then coming home to a cold house with little food on the table. The thought of seeing May's grin when I would walk through the door made it worth all the tears though. Never in a million years would I picture myself dressed in stunning gowns, eating rich food and waking up to the man of my dreams. They say to follow your heart but I listened to my stubborn rebellious mind and ended up marrying the Prince. I still don't understand how that happened.

"What are you doing?" Maxons voice sounds from the door, I turn a round, the smile still playing on my lips. He wears a pale grey suit, although he's lost the tie and jacket and the sleeves are rolled up tp his elbows. His golden hair is messy but that's how I like it.

"Oh you know," I laugh. "Just taking a trip down Memory Lane."

"Mind if I join you?" He chuckles.

I scoot over and Maxons sits next to me, the album laying across our laps. The room is filled with the sound of our laughs when there's a picture of me stuffing my mouth with a strawberry tart, "Good to know that nothing's changed." Maxon says and points to the empty cream plate where there was once two strawberry tarts. I playfully whack his arm and snuggle closer to him.

"Oh! How about this one?" I say and look to the picture of Maxon covered in ice cold water me and May standing over him with an empty bucket in out hands. It was a dare from Marlee and Carter for me to see what I could do to the crowned Prince of Illéa now that i was married to him. It ended with May dying his hair blue.

I smile sadly when I see all the photos we took in the Women's room that day. It was perfect, all of us getting along and having fun, not caring that we were in a competition all competing for the same thing. It was like we bad been best friends since we were five and if I could go back to one day during the Selection it would be that, or the one where I met the real Maxon.

"That day was amazing," I sigh and rest my head on Maxons shoulder, my red hair tumbling down his chest.

"I wouldn't know," He grins. "I wasn't there, remember?"

"Oh hush," I say and turn the page to Maxon and I kissing on our wedding. It was fun, especially when we kissed and it went on for about five minutes before Marlee pushed me off of Maxon.

"You know what," Maxon says. "I think we could've done better," I smile remembering our first kiss. Maxon's lips meet mine.

It starts of slow but I still get shivers all over me. A fire grows in the pit of my stomach, it's something that makes me want more. "I love you," I say in between kisses.

"I love you more, My Dear."

I'm about to object and punch him but I realised something. Over the years, I think I've grown to love the nickname.

What do you think? I just wanted a bit of fluff and the idea for this came to me. Tell me what you thought in the reviews :D

Until next time,

Love Summer xx
