Orihime x Renji
Orihime was just doing the dishes when there is a knock at her door. "Coming." She says. "Renji?!" "Hi! Can I crash here?" What? He barged in and Orihime closed the door. "Why are you in need to stay the night?" "Ichigo has Rukia over at his house so I didn't want to get in the middle of the two." "I see. Would you like some tea then? I should still have enough for both of us." Renji smiled. "Sure. Thanks. I'm sorry I barged in. But I didn't want anyone to see me." Orihime could understand. She fixed a pot of tea and gave some to him. "Are you pushing it?" "No. I always give 100% in my fights. I just am tired because I had to move fast before Ichigo OR Rangiku saw me leaving and ask questions." Orihime smiled. "I'm glad you could make it safely then." Renji smiled. If only she knew the real reason for him coming here. "How is Rukia?" "She's good. Her and Ichigo are partners for life now, so things are-" Orihime turned from happy to sad. "Sorry. I forget that is a sour spot. If it helps I can't stand those two together either." "How come?" "Well I figured that you liked Ichigo. Same hair color and all. To be honest hearing what he did I thought I was losing Rukia over him. But then you left and Ichigo would do anything to get you back. But Rukia talked me into it because we were your friends." "So you liked Rukia?" "Guilty. But in the end, she loved him." And now he liked her. "I'm sorry. I didn't know I was the only one suffering over a heartbreak. You can stay as long as you like. Come over whenever and don't be a stranger."
A week later...
"Orihime! i'm back!" Renji shouted. "Renji! Great that your here. I fixed up some earl gray tea in the kitchen and we are having roast tonight." "Smells good, roomy." As long as no one knows where he is, he is safe and can be with her. Only time will tell if she likes him back.
I like Orihime but I just don't see her with Ichigo. I don't hate her or the couple but this is just me.
