I do not own Danny Phantom! Butch Hartman does. I also do not own Ghost Adventures or the Travel Channel.
Danny and his family lazily sat around the television. There'd been no ghosts that lovely summer evening, as they tried to think of something to watch that was actually good as the sun painted the sky a multitude of colors as it set- orange and yellow, even a light pink in the sky as it flowed among hair-like strands of clouds, like a painter had painted the sky in all it's glory.
Scrolling through the channels, ignoring the beauty in the sky, they looked through.
There had been a few channels here and there than caught one or the others interest- a show on psychology, which Jazz was denied, or a movie on the stars, which was turned down by everyone but Danny.
After a few moments, they found the Travel channel.
What was on was 'Ghost Adventures'. They blinked at it. Jack spoke.
"Anyone opposed to this?" He asked. No one said anything. Jack took that as silent acceptance, and chose the channel.
Up came what looked to be some young men, talking to the owner of a so-called 'haunted' mansion. They were briefly told of what was going on, and soon, they were locked in at night in the darkness of the house.
"HOLY CRAP WHAT WAS THAT?" One of them said. Danny resisted laughing. Even his parents were giggling.
"There's a mouse in the background, genius." Danny said with a snort.
"I'M POSSESSED!" Another shouted. This time they DID start laughing, without being able to conceal it.
Wiping away a crocodile tear, Danny spoke again. "Alright, if he was possessed, he wouldn't have enough control to yell that." Danny said. Then the show went to a sort of detector, and it showed red cloud-like substance coming out from what looked to be two things called 'buttcheeks'.
"OHMYGODIT'SAGHOST!" One screamed. One of the 'adventurers' blushed, but it was hidden by the darkness.
"Uh...I farted...It wasn't a ghost..." The other said.
"NO, IT WAS A GHOST, I KNOW IT!" He shouted back.
By this time, Maddie and Jack were laughing so hard they cried, and Jazz and Danny actually fell off the couch, kicking their legs, laughing.
You could see a small, white moth flap its wings past the ghost 'hunters' as it flew, nonchalant. The frat boys of ghost hunting freaked out.
"THAT IS A GHOST. DO YOU SEE IT FLYING AROUND ME?"
"YEAH, I SEE IT!"
"COME AT ME, GHOST! GIMME ALL YOU GOT!" One shouted. Danny laughed.
"Alright, THAT is the LAST thing you do around ghosts. Who are these idiots?"
"Some fools who fake being ghost hunters to make big bucks they don't deserve on the Travel Channel." Jazz said with a snort.
The moth then landed on the man's nose.
"OH MY GOD, IT'S ATTACKING ME!" He shouted. The other man quickly slapped at it, knocking the poor moth down, and hitting the other guy.
"I like the one with the hat." A voice said in the background. Danny rolled his eyes.
"Alright, that's not a ghost's voice." But yet, the hunters became freaked out beyond no end.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH! OHMYGOD HE'S AFTER US!"
Even by now Jack and Maddie were on the floor from this.
"AH!"
Danny smirked at that scream. Then he had an idea, as his lips curled up in a smirk.
"I wonder how they would react to a REAL ghost..." He said. His parents and Jazz shot him a look that meant 'no'. He pouted and sighed.
Now, the 'ghost hunters' were talking to the owner of the place, who was eagerly listening.
"There were some ghosts, but we were brave. Told 'em to come after us." One said proudly. All of the Fentons rolled their eyes.
"Yeah, it was tough, but we stuck it out without a hitch." The other said. Danny raised an eyebrow.
"Liars. Wait, I have an idea..." He said.
"Hmm?" Maddie asked.
"Let's invite them to a house in Amity Park for the night..."
Lame, I know. But I was bored. So review or die.
