Just a little poem that came to me on a subway. Anyway, it's basically how I think Lexa must feel post season 2. Thanks for reading.
Lexa's Lament
From the sky you did come
Out of space like a shooting star
Burned the atmosphere in your wake
Tripping, tumbling, falling down
I'm a tree with roots down deep
There were many that came before me
From the soil I was birthed
And to that ground I will return
The shooting star did stop my heart
Barreled down to the plush earth
Star dust blanketed all the branches
Until the rains came to diverge
It was that potion the roots did drink
Thirsty trees came to breathe you in
Past kisses future in that present place
Where you once were not, you'll now forever be
I think you may have poisened me
Stripped me bare to my molten core
Swore not to love; instead made a wish
Longing for wings to chase a star
