"Woohoo Sunshine! We've officially built our little demigod rest stop, with magical boundaries to prevent demons from getting in. We can repair their machines, give them a safe place to rest…" he started rambling on and on.
The girl just laughed.
"Come on Valdez, how are we going to pay for the maintenance of this place? We'll need food, metals, tar…"
"Don't worry Sunshine, I got some materials to last a few months, and then one of us can get a job-"
"What sort of job?"
"Oh. Hm… Let me go tell Chiron about this place first, and then we can figure something out."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
The boy kissed the girl, and then they just stood in the twilight for a longtime.
"It's getting dark, we should go inside now," says the girl.
The two people walked into their machine shop and turned off the lights.
