Sam and Addison lay next to each other on his large bed, completely exhausted and wrapped in his sheets. "Dell is dead," he said quietly.

"I know," she replied, rolling on her side toward him. "Amelia said her and Charlotte did everything they could. The bleed was too extensive."

"I know that, but I can't believe he's dead, and I had to operate on the guy who essentially killed him. Who nearly killed my baby girl and the baby."

"You had no way of knowing that when you went it," Addison reasoned.

"Pete lied to me, said there was an accident in LA like every four minutes, and that this guy was one of them," he seethed quietly. "I operated on a guy whose blood alcohol was 0.3. It should have been him in the morgue instead of Dell."

"I think we all secretly wish that," Addison agreed. A few minutes of silence went by; only the sounds of breathing and heart beats could be heard.

"I'm a grandfather," Sam said.

"Yes you are Grandpa," she giggled. "She's a beautiful little girl. I wonder what they're gonna name her?"

"I wonder if she's gonna be alright," Sam said.

"Amelia said everything looks like its gonna be alright," Addy soothed, rubbing small circles on his arms. "I know, I just worry about my baby," he said. "No matter how many kids she has or how old she'll get she'll always be my little girl."

"I know, she'll always be my little Maya," Addy said. "Bit I must say, you happen to be one sexy Grandpa."
