What happens when Damon meets Bonnie after he brought her back to life. OneShot

Bonnie was walking quickly inside the Salvatore mansion, she was there to get some books from their library and had to run to get to class. That was the plan until she hit into something hard. It took her some seconds to take a step back and see that it was indeed Damon's chest.

"Hey" she said faintly.

"So that's what I get?!" said Damon with a bitter yet amused face expression. Bonnie looked at him curiously.

"It's been almost a freaking month, I -emphasizing the I- got you back to life, it's the first time you see me and all I get, is a Hey!?" he exploded.

"I've been meaning to-" she tried.

"You' ve been meaning to what?" He yelled.

"I don't take what you did lightly, I-"

"Well you hide it very well, congrats!"

And then Bonnie started screaming, let all the books fall from her hands and fell to her knees. Tears were running in her cheeks. Damon went down next to her started hugging her, calling her name, wiping her tears, pleading her to stop, he didn't know what to do. After some minutes Bonnie stopped shaking into his arms and also hugged him. She needed comfort. Damon then realized what was all that.

"You took her place, now you feel the pain." He slowly said mostly to himself. He then slowly moved in order to see her, he touched her face. "I did this to you, I'm truly a monster" his eyes were wide and his voice hoarse. He felt horrible.

Then Bonnie quickly caressed his face. "No, no" she didn't want him to feel this way it hurt her, she was grateful. "You gave me life again" she gave him a small smile. "Thank You" she added moving towards him and kissing him for a long moment on the cheek, taking his breath away. He hugged her tightly, he didn't want to ever let her go. Bonnie felt like she was at home inside his arms.
