Disclaimer: I don't own Tsubasa Chronicles! Just a really short fic.
"Please Syaoran… No memories for today… I want to rest, I'm really tired…"
She's been like this for three days now, she didn't want to wander around different worlds and gather her lost feathers. Syaoran just nodded at her request and left her in her bedroom. It was already late in the afternoon. Maybe the heat made her tired, he thought.
"I want to… Remember my memories all by myself… Please God, let me remember them, please…"
That won't really do, how can she? If it was just a normal amnesia, she could, but it was because of strong magic that her memories were scattered to different places. But she was still as innocent as ever, wanting to recover what she had lost, by herself.
Before she would let herself fall asleep, she noticed the black piano not far from where her bed was. The hotel they stayed in was not really expensive, so she was surprised to see a piano there.
She went towards it and sat on the wooden chair. She gently positioned her fingers on the keys, and closed her eyes.
Soon, a sad and melancholic tune would be heard from outside her room.
---
The faint scent of tears on my rain-soaked cheeks...
The warm look on the face of travelers...
The music from our childhood faintly echos in the background...
The memories that I hopelessly try to remember wander aimlessly
That with these wings, launched by my dreams,
Over distance oceans and skies we'll soar, together, to a place where memories never fade.
You light up the way for me in the darkness of night.
Oh, that warm look on your face...
I want to see you...
---
Unknown to her, Syaoran was leaning against the door, listening to her sad song, and the feeling the pain in her heart.
When she stopped playing, Syaoran was at his best to be silent as he peeped from near the wall. He could see tears falling from her cheeks, which made him weary and hurt. He wanted to go to her and comfort her, but as she requested, she was tired, and she really wanted to rest, all by herself.
"I… Want to remember, everything by myself… I'm tired of crying when I don't even know what's the reason behind my tears… I… Want to remember... The boy... Whom I really loved..."
Syaoran felt sorry for her as well, for both of them didn't know, that the one man Sakura loved, was him.
The sunset's light and warmth entered her fragile window, as she crossed her arms to hug herself, with Syaoran as well, reminiscing the afternoon piano.
I'm sorry if it's really short, just wanted to write something about the insert song, 'You are My Love'. Anyway, please don't forget to R&R!
