Twinkling stars sparkled high in the sky, causing the ocean to vibrantly glitter. The cool air brushed upon the pulsian's face, both hands planted behind herself as she sat along the small blanket safely away from the low crashing tide. The moon hung high, casting a soft glow along the brunette and her companion. Tilting her head a fraction, Fang looked to Lightning, basking in the pale glow of the moon across the soldier's form.

"It's pretty beautiful, ain't it?"

"Hmm," Lightning agreed gently, her arms slung around her legs as her knees were propped to her chest and she held them there.

"Thanks for havin' dinner with me." Fang added after a brief pause.

Lightning cast a sideways glance at the other woman, a nod of her head following. "Of course. Thanks for sharing it with me." She responded, the edges of her lips curving into the smallest of smiles.

Emerald hues latched onto sapphire and when Lightning adverted her gaze, Fang sat up more, gradually moving a hand from the blanket and towards the rosette's face. Capturing her chin carefully, Fang prompted Lightning to turn her head, her eyes falling directly in line with the soldier's. Even in the moonlight, the pulsian could see the richest shade of cerulean and she melted from the gaze they shared.

Lightning's cheeks flushed crimson, "What is it?" She wondered.

"Nothing." Fang answered almost breathless, her tone low, so that only Lightning could hear her voice. Her hand gently cupped the older Farron's chin and marginally, the brunette moved in a fraction. Her emerald hues flickered from Lightning's lips and back to her eyes. She watched as she moved in closer, her stare intensifying as hues melded with azure.

The soldier's breath hitched gently as jade reflected in her eyes and when Fang moved in, she mentally prepared herself for what was bound to happen next. That was when their lips met in a sweet and gentle but searing kiss. Lightning's eyes screwed shut and she relished in the moment, despite a small amount of anxiety wracking her core. She pressed her lips more firmly into Fang's, a gentle hand floated to chocolate locks and ran down the silky strands.

Fang hummed in delight, the huntress gingerly pulling away. She pressed her forehead into the other woman's, her eyes still held shut. "Been wanting to do that for a while now," She admitted.

Lightning gently let out a huff of her own delight. "I'm glad you did."

"Heh, is that so?" Scooting closer to the pinkette, Fang's hand looped around the back of her head and in one swift movement, olive lips met peach once more, testing uncharted waters, her heart beating erratically.

Lightning was caught off guard but again her eyelids fluttered shut and she turned her body sideways between kisses, Fang mirroring the action until the huntress guided Lightning down onto the blanket beneath. The older Farron sister laid down as prompted, allowing Fang to hover over her form, their kiss deepening once her back had hit the ground. A small groan of pleasure escaped her briefly parted lips before Fang dove in for another passionate kiss.

Breaking apart after a moment, Fang's eyes opened and once again she was caught with ocean blue eyes peering up at her, her lips curved upwards, a small grin plastered across her face. "I like you, Light." She admitted, watching as the soldier's cheeks flushed a deeper color, slightly noticeable in the glow of the moonlight.

The other woman brought a gloved hand up to her comrade's face, Fang then pressing her cheek into the other woman's touch. A smile etched onto Lightning's face, her usually strong features soft as she gazed up at Fang. "I like you, too." She promised gently.
